OpenWRT in Client Mode

Prerequisite
- Modem Router (Host Router) configure as AP, I'm using TP-LINK TD-W8960N
- TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND Wireless Router flash with OpenWRT
Configuration
- Host Router IP address: 192.168.1.1
- Host Router ESSID: ccc
- Host Router Channel: 6
- Client Router: 192.168.0.1 (The network address must be differ from Host Router)
Note: The red colour part for above 192.168.0.1 is the network address, while the blue colour part is the host address.
Setting IP address for Client Router
The default IP address is 192.168.1.1, change it to 192.168.0.1
Wiress Oveview
Click Scan button to list available wireless network.
Wireless Scan
It should display a list of available wireless network arround your area. Select a wireless network you decided to join.
Join Network
Enter WPA passphrase (I'm using WPA as the security protocol) which must same as your Host Router, leave the Name of the new network as wwan.
Summary of Wireless Network Client
As shown in figure below is the settings detected automatically. Don't change any thing here, just click Save and Apply button to continue.
Restart the router, connect notebook (do not use wireless, must using network cable) to the router. You should able to connect to internet.
